Palazzo Malvezzi told by Dr Balanzone (video of 04 June 2021 in Italian language)
With his "modest and calm" manner, Dottor Balanzone, a Bolognese carnival mask created in the 17th century to mock the noble and impudent professors of the Alma Mater Studiorum, presents Palazzo Malvezzi-Campeggi, located in Bologna at Via Zamboni 22.

Erected around 1500 by Andrea and Giacomo Marchesi da Formigine. An ancient sculpture of Ercole by Giuseppe Mazza adorns a niche in the court yard with double loggia and Doric columns. Some rooms display beautiful tempera paintings by Antonio Rossi and Carlo Lodi. This is now the seat of the Faculty department of Bologna University.
