University of Bologna Law Review (UBLR)

The University of Bologna Law Review (UBLR) is a peer reviewed and open access law journal, entirely run by students. It aims to foster the discussion of cutting-edge legal issues and welcomes submissions on issues relating to all jurisdictions and to any area of law.  All publications are in English. The law review was born in 2014 thanks to the joint effort of a group of students of the Department of Legal Studies, in strict cooperation with the members of that Department. The journal started publishing on a regular basis in 2016, relying on the UNIBO’s e-publishing service (AlmaDL Journals), which is dedicated to open access peer-reviewed journals. The Department of Legal Studies went from being the law review’s sponsor to becoming its owner and editor in 2015. UBLR is indexed in numerous repositories both nationally and internationally, as well as in over 200 university libraries across the world. The journal relies on an Editorial Board composed of both students selected from the DSG as well as a number of undergraduate and postgraduate students coming from foreign universities. The Reviewers’ Committee and the Advisory Board also play an essential and necessary role in the editorial process, and they comprise an outstanding selection of scholars and practitioners from all over the world.

Labour & Law Issues (LLI)

Labour & Law Issues is a digital magazine that deals with the law of individual and collective labour relations in the legal and social sciences. LLI seeks to initiate a debate on the rules, values and concepts of labour law identity and the hybridisations that go through it. With a preference for comparative and interdisciplinary analysis, LLI offers an open space for reflection on the new identities of work and on the new sociality designed by contemporary production dynamics. Through a multi-voice dialogue between political-social sciences and humanistic knowledge, the journal aims to contribute to the rethinking of the legal categories of work, collective systems and industrial relations. Scientific director: Patrizia Tullini
