Convegno The Re-Globe event "Corporate Climate Litigation" (Dr Monika Feigerlová)

In the absence of a comprehensive legal framework addressing the harms caused by climate change, climate change litigation has become a driver of climate action. The presentation will examine the rise of climate-related legal claims against corporations. As climate science evolves, so do the legal strategies for holding companies accountable for their contributions to climate change and their inadequate efforts to mitigate climate risks.

Dr. Monika Feigerlová is Visiting Researcher at the Department of Legal Studies of the University of Bologna within the activities of the Excellent University Departments Project, funded by the Italian Ministry of Instruction, University and Research.
