L'Università di Bologna aderisce alla piattaforma IRIS (Institutional Research Information System). IRIS, con i sui diversi moduli, è in grado di raccoglie tutti i dati dell’attività della ricerca, dalla produzione scientifica, passando per i progetti e le collaborazioni internazionali per giungere alla valutazione dei risultati della ricerca.

Basato su standard Cineca, IRIS è compatibile con le attuali esigenze ministeriali e dialoga con il sito docente Cineca dove, in modo automatico, riversa le pubblicazioni, creando così un unico punto d’inserimento e rappresenta uno strumento fondamentale per analisi, monitoraggio, indirizzo e valutazione del ciclo della ricerca.
